"I already am overcome by darkness... the only thing keeping me from going out of control is the body inside me... the one you call Leo." He said as he could tell it was working, and continued working no matter what she said.

"It will live there for a while and try to feed on what little darkness you have left... but once that's gone. It will fade away...." He said as he got up and looked at his hand, that now made of pure darkness and blacker than anything he had ever seen... 'It may be a useful weapon when the time calls for it.' Blood thought as he concentrated all of the darkness into a mark that appeared on his hand.

"The seed is still there...I can feel it." said Luke. "And the only way to trully get rid of it is to dissove it." explained Mew Snow. She layed her hand upon Luke's forehead.

"It should be at your level now Snow..." He said as he began feel unimaginable pain flowing through his hand, but he dealt with it as he covered up the mark from the sun.

Helen held her hand over Luke's forehead for a little longer. The seed had faded. "I feel...alive..." said Luke reaching up into the sky. He walked around looking at his body. The hard leather armor and blackened coat he was wearing fell off of his body, revealing a grey silk robe. His combat blade dissolved. His eyes were now a normal tone of brown and his ash-caked hair became clean. There was one evil thing that did not dissapear or fade....
.....THE MARK.....

Blood just looked at Luke like if he was crazy. "That's nice and all that you feel better, but now what?" He asked as the light made his left hand burn in pain.

"I am not completely cured...I still bear The Mark." said Luke. He was in a daze. Mew Snow and Raikov looked at him. The cyclone of sea mist had become a light wind. It was sunset. Then, something else happened...
Raikov's mask fell off of his face, revealing his true face.
One might expect Raikov to look ferocious and gruff, but he was not at all. His face was, in a way, thin and gentle. His hair was white like Mew Snow's but was not as long.

Blood looked back at Raikov and smiled. "Looks like you dropped your mask..." He said happily as he picked it up and handed it to him. "Well this was fun and all, but now that your not going to die I think I'll retreat into Leo for now. But if he falls to the floor in pain, just tell him I say hi..." He smiled as his hair started to recede back to it's normal like and color while his eyes became brown once again. Leo just looked at everyone until he fell to the floor dead tired as he deserved a good rest after that.

Raikov quickly put his mask back on, ashamed to show his face. He still hadn't said a word though. "Let's all rest inside." said Mew Snow. She got up.

Leo was out cold on the ground as he couldn't get up even if he wanted to. He would have probably slept there on the grass if it weren't for the fact that he couldn't tell them to leave him to sleep.

Helen saw Leo on the ground, came up to him, and offered him her hand saying, "Come on, Leo. Let's rest inside." she didn't realize how exhausted Leo really was.

Everyone made it inside. Helen led the rest of them on a trek to a secluded room which she said had once been her private quarters. It was quite dusty inside her room.

Helen parted the curtains on the window. Her room faced west, giving her a nice view of the setting sun. "Many hundred miles out there is Japan..." she said gazing out into the horizon. Then a unanimous feeling of shock hit everyone in the room:
How were they going to get back to Japan?
